Michigan City, IN (March 13, 2015) – Harbour Trust & Investment Management is proud to announce the promotion of Stephanie Oberlie as Chief Operating Officer. Oberlie first began with the company in 1998, and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Trust Officer. In her new role at Harbour Trust, Oberlie is responsible for the daily management of the company by maintaining and monitoring staffing levels and developing and delivering the company’s strategies throughout the organization.

Upon graduating from Ball State University in 1994, Oberlie began her career as a Personal Trust Officer managing estates, trusts, investment accounts, retirement portfolios and non-profit accounts. Throughout her career, she has focused her studies annually in the areas of fiduciary management, tax planning and estate settlement and more recently in the areas of strategic planning and team development.
Born and raised in Michigan City, Oberlie currently serves on the Duneland Health Council Board of Directors, the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Michigan City Salvation Army Advisory Board. In addition, she is a member of
the LaPorte County Unity Foundation Gold Key Society and a past recipient of the Athena Award. Her family instilled in her the importance of giving back to the community, and, as a result, this has become the cornerstone of her values.
